MYPAS is delighted to announce it has been awarded a grant of £75,000 from the Robertson Trust.

The funding will support the continuation of MYPAS’ Outreach services in Midlothian and East Lothian over the next three years starting in June, reaching young people aged 16 to 21 years old experiencing financial hardships, poor mental health and substance use.

The grant will ensure that MYPAS can keep supporting young people at high risk of drug related harm and/or homelessness, targeting those who are less likely to engage in support services.

Dave Evans, MYPAS’ Chief Executive, talks about the award: “We’re delighted to receive this generous award from the Robertson Trust. This funded service will help to give support to some of the most vulnerable young people in our Midlothian and East Lothian communities to improve their health and wellbeing.”

Michael Smart, Funding Officer from the Robertson Trust, says: “MYPAS’s targeted outreach and strong local relationships continue to play a vital role in helping at-risk young people access the holistic support and build the relationships they need to thrive.

“We’re pleased to support this work through our Nurturing Relationships funding theme and look forward to following its progress in the years ahead.”
