We’re delighted to share that the Bluebell Trail Run from last Sunday was a success!
On May 11th, a beautiful sunny day, we counted on our local communities to come and support us on this event, helping us raise £10,000 for our charity. However, the Bluebell Trail Run wouldn’t be possible without the support of our people.
The Bluebell Committee – a group of fantastic volunteers who organised the whole event, planned the routes, organised the warm up for our runners, dealt with licenses, risk assessments, catering, and organised the race village.
We also had amazing volunteers who set up and delivered the races: setting up the course, working on registration, marshalling the route, giving out medals and handing out water; and everything else that made it a successful event.
Finally, we had amazing 600 entrants taking part in the race. It’s because of moments like these that we know we are supported by our local communities, with people joining us from all across Edinburgh, East Lothian, Midlothian and further afield.
A big thank you to everyone involved!
