MYPAS is currently looking to fill several posts across our services at the moment. Please read on to find out about our exciting opportunities. MYPAS promotes the health and wellbeing of young people and currently focuses on working in the areas of mental health and substance use. MYPAS is a community-based organisation with charitable status and has premises in Dalkeith (Midlothian) and Tranent (East Lothian). 

We are looking for a School Counsellor, located within our East Lothian School Counselling Service.

The postholder will be responsible for providing counselling with children and young people aged 10-18 who reside in East Lothian. The postholder will assist in establishing, developing, delivering, evaluating and reporting on, the School Counselling service.

This is a full time post at £31,082 – £32,905. CLOSING 26th of SEPTEMBER

We are also looking for a Project Worker to join our Midlothian Drug and Alcohol Support Service

The post will continue to develop and provide young people focussed, needs-led, friendly, confidential and non-judgemental drug and alcohol service for:

• Young people (aged 12 to 21) in Midlothian

The service will offer:

1. Individual support for young people

2. Group work programmes

3. Staff training

4. Support for families

This is a full time post at £31,082 – £32,905. CLOSING 3rd of OCTOBER

We are also looking for a part-time Charity Administrator.

This is a new post situated within the MYPAS Core Team. Our Core Team support our front-facing staff to deliver services to our high standard.

The post holder will offer organisational, administrative and clerical services to MYPAS management and service teams designed to contribute towards its aims and objectives. The key areas of focus for this role are:

  1. Administrative support
  2. Meeting and events support
  3. Production of reports and resources.

This is a part-time post at £21,659 pro-rata. CLOSING 3rd of October

Lastly, we are looking for a part-time Fundraising Assistant.

Working as part of busy Core Team, the post holder will provide fundraising and administrative support to the MYPAS Business Development Manager. The role will focus, initially, on supporting community and trusts activity as well as individual giving and challenge events but will grow and develop with the individual and needs of the organisation.

This is a part-time post at £21,659 pro-rata.
