Be a local hero. Support vulnerable young people in your area.

Problems with alcohol and drugs, the death of a loved one, anxiety about ‘coming out’, depression and self harm are just some of the issues that young people in East Lothian and Midlothian open up to us about.

Through counselling, one-to-one support and sessions in local schools, we help them deal with, and overcome, their problems.

Your donations help us to do this.

Why support us?

We are the only service that specifically provides drug & alcohol support for young people in East Lothian and Midlothian.

Our LGBT Youth Project gives young people from Midlothian and East Lothian a safe place to find support.

We are the only service that provides counselling, art therapy and therapeutic group support for young people in Midlothian.

The difference your money will make

It doesn’t matter how much you donate. Anything you can contribute will go towards keeping MYPAS going, so we can carry on supporting young people to make positive decisions about their lives.

With our help they:

  • do better at school
  • are more likely to get a job
  • are less likely to get into trouble with the police
  • have better relationships with their families
  • boost their confidence and feel good about themselves
