Be a local hero and support vulnerable young people in your area.

Fundraise for MYPAS

Issues with alcohol and drugs, the death of a loved one, anxiety about ‘coming out’, depression and self harm are just some of the issues that young people in East Lothian and Midlothian open up to us about. Support from MYPAS helps them deal with and overcome their issues.

Your donations help us to do this. Without your support, we simply would not be able to reach all of the young people and their families  who need our help.

Why support us?

We work hard to ensure that our services remain FREE at the point of access, that we maintain an open access approach to service referrals (this means that anyone can refer a child or young person to our services, including young people themselves).

Our services are unique and in parts, the only services available to young people aged 12-21 in Midlothian and East Lothian.

MYPAS is the only organisation delivering one-to-one support for LGBT+ young people across East Lothian and Midlothian. We are the only provider of Drug & Alcohol Support for young people across East Lothian and Midlothian. We are the main provider of School Counselling across East Lothian and Midlothian. How you can support us

Regular Giving

Making a regular donation to our charity allows us to plan ahead for the future, providing a stable source of income and supporting the longer term commitments of our services and projects.

You can donate as little or as much as you like, and you can choose the frequency too.

You can use either Localgiving or Justgiving to pledge a regular donation. By using these platforms, MYPAS can collect GiftAid on each donation, boosting your amount by 25%.

Regular donors will receive a newsletter from MYPAS twice yearly updating you on developments at MYPAS and the impact your donation has made.

The difference your money will make

It doesn’t matter how much you donate. Anything you can contribute will go towards supporting our work, so we can carry on supporting young people to make positive changes in their lives.

With our help they:

  • do better at school
  • are more likely to get a job
  • are less likely to get into trouble with the police
  • have better relationships with their families
  • boost their confidence and feel good about themselves
